Dunkield
Got a call from my Dad to say his mate shoots a bit but has given up, and doesn't want to renew his SGC, it runs out very soon so... he wants to give me both his shotguns! All I know is one is an O/U and one is an SBS, and I doubt either are Purdey's/Holland & Holland etc, but I will know more later on in the week. henry d
You never know what to expect,my mate was given 2 s/s shotties and couldn`t keep both due to spaceso i put one on my cert, but it was soon scrapped. It was a re-sleeved and almost out of proof BLNE by a pretty good maker(English but can`t remember)probably an estate/keepers gun. He kept the other,a AYA No.2 SLE with 90% of the hardening showing and only needed to be re-blued to get it worth £1k+ :look: He`s always been lucky like that So you never know what will turn up
Dunkield
So, today is the day I am picking these shooters up later.. My money is on a Baikal O/U and an AYA Yeoman SBS. I have since found out that a gun shotp didn't even want to take them in as 'the market is flooded with stuff like that' so my hopes aren't too high. Lord Geordie
Hay the AYA Yeoman SbS aren't bad The Baikal will come in handy as a Fire Poker though I have a single barrel one and it does the job nicely though really Is a perfect candidate for a Hushpower Makeover LG
