silver_fox
The last few evenings mucking out the horses field (3 acres) I've been finding the plastic wadding from a .410. No one has permission to shoot on my land, so have I got poachers or are they shooting over the hedge and onto my land? I'd hate to find pellets in one of horses. Wondering how far the wadding travels from the muzzle on firing. Perhaps I'll wait out for a few nights and have a gentle word with them. Sounds like you have a problem with someone shooting on/over your land.
sitsinhedges
The plastic Z24 wads out of my 12 gauge rarely go much further than about 25 yards if I shoot at a distant bunny. It's surprising how many I find and take back home with me.
HoTsHoT-10
When we go clay shooting on my Grandads farm we pick up all the 410 wads and they are all about 30yards away, depending on the wind direction.
