Billy.
It's not down to the size of the land. It's the layout. A 20 acre pancake surrounded by roads and footpaths will more than likely not get clearance. A 2 acre quarry would be likely to get cleared. Best bet is to go and get some experience with someone, as it'll put you in a better position to be granted a certificate with few restrictions. what rabbit
my biggest single area is about 35 acres is old bill going to be ok with that ?
rimfire4969
I dont think there is an area to decide yes or no, first rimfire a go was for about 10 acres. All to do with safety, back stops ect.

I've seen some really questionable land cleared before and this sounds miles better.
ste 2712
as mentioned it will depend on layout of the land roads, footpaths etc etc... But it also depends on what you flo deems to be safe an this can differ greatly there seems to be no set guidelines for them to work off! 1 of my permissions is a farm of 650+ acres which when i first checked i was told it to be unsuitable for firearms, eventually got it rechecked by a different flo and he cleared it straight away for centerfire! crazy .... The fao asked for a high seat or pick up to be used
