is there any way of knowing the difference between the turkish webley and the british one as i am thinking of buying a webley exocet .22 but ive heard bad things about the turkish ones ie spring guides jamming and shattering any info would be great thanks :hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm:

The Turkish one will have 'T' or 'TR' on the breech near the serial number.

IMHO there is very little difference in the quality between the Turk or the Brit-both as bad as each other.I cannot think of a decent gun that Webley have produced for many years.Do yourself a favour and try other guns before parting with your money.Sorry to be so negative but I know that you can buy far better guns for the money. :good:

Hey, my webley raider has a sticker inbedded in the gun saying webley radier made in birmingham uk, very good gun super light wait no noise never had no problems

Isn't that always the way on forums.:lol:

Gun choice is very individual just the same, but questions still need to be asked about the UK gun industry, after all Webley - Turkey, BSA - Spain! Even a lot of Air Arms is outsourced or even made abroad now, and on it goes......
