blasterjudd
Hi Has anyone out there tried those new PCP Thunderbolt pellets?? Any good? Anything to report?
FalconFN
By all means try them, but for the best results stick to lead domed pellets. Zinc won't deform on impact so can over-penetrate and not transfer all of it's energy, they don't seem to be as accurate as the tried and tested lead pellets and there is some concern over barrel ware caused by the harder pellets. In short if you want a .22 with a flatter trajectory...get a .177.

UKPoacher
If you use Google to research these pellets you'll find a load of threads on various shooting forums that were all started by Clubshot around the time they were launched. Since then - nothing, zilch, nano. I think that says it all. If you want a lighter pellet try JSB Exact RS. I've been putting them through the Prosport and they are superb. Accurate and they deform on impact. Something tin and zinc pellets fail to do. Eight quid a tin post free at Intershoot

Clubshot
ThUnderbots are made of Zinc - which is Worked / Processed in Production Does not cause any Wear or Tear in Standard Barrels As much discussed - Lead will in Time be Banned / restricted as Air Gun Pellets Production and purchase - I was involved in Early testing of these Pellets - as Part of the Pax Team That made them for SMK's - Was made for their Gun's - As Bullet Design - does need to find Rifling for Speed and Accuracy And yes there are several other manufactures now producing Pellets out of other materials than Lead - Especially in the States and part's of Europe Safe Shooting BOB/R
