beanieboy
I live between Newry and Banbridge and have bought from the following, Tannyoky Guns, Coburns [banbridge], Shooting Shak [Newry], Willis [Markethill] - any others you can think of who carry a good range of .22 subs? - I want to try as many different types as possible - so far have tried Eley, Winchester, Remington, CCI - would like to try other makes if I can get them. ps don't mention Smyths of Newry as I find them very unhelpful. apache
Are you having a problem with groups? My CZ will shoot anything just about the same. There's no point finding your gun really likes a rare brand that you won't be able to keep getting hold of. If it works use what you can buy nearest. The difference in price would be lost in the cost of fuel!
beanieboy
All these rounds are accurate out of my CZ, though Eley and CCI bolt a bit on the tight side, whilst Winchesters can stick after firing. I want to try as many as possible and if I find one that proves best I will buy as many as my permit allows, won't mind a bit of a drive every so often to stock up - lets face it norn iron isn't that big! ps would like to try these SK [Lapua] I hear so much about. rapid rich
I'd of thought Tannyoky would of had a good enough selection to sort through?? Rich
tignme
The majority of 22lr subs are made in the same factory under different brand names.
Robin128
I have a CZ452 and it will shoot very accurately...depending on what I feed it and how I aim it. The best subs I have ever used and I have tried a range of them, is Eley Tenex...but they are very expensive. steve_b_wales
I have used Winchester Super X 40gr, and they are brilliant. Never had trouble with them in any of my rifles. Steve.
.philmypower.
I also use Winchester super x subs with great results.
beanieboy
I also use Winchester super x subs with great results. Winnies are very accurate in my CZ and cycle really well - problem is the case seems to stick after shooting - happens typically 4-5 times out of every 25-30 rounds shot - complete pain in the ****!
