Ghostrider1979
Hi my last post got no response reference the American air rifle Benjamin discovery. Does anyone own one and if so what's your view, would you say it's a good air rifle, power rating, hunting capabilities etc? Let me know your thoughts guys. Ghostrider1979
Nice insite into the Benjamin discovery thank you sharp shooter? I presume you have owned one or have one now?
thegingeritalian
I've not owned one but a friend of mine does and he loves it. I've had a go of it and its nice and light, comes to the shoulder well and drops rabbits no problems at sensible distances. I would liken it to the BSA Ultra. Dangerous Brian
I have had a Discovery for a few months now. Not used it much but it is nice and light (other rifle is an HW80) and very easy to get on with in the field. Can't comment on power with any great certainty but the pellets seem to go well enough and penetrate to a similar depth as the approx 11.5ftlbs HW80. From memory (not that reliable) I think I was getting about 40 shots in the sweet spot before having to recharge.

Ricko
GF has one and she loves it, light, easy to load and cock etc. I have used it a few times at the range and it seems ok. I think that she paid £150 with a scope s/h from a reputable local dealer.
