Colc08
Hi all, Has anyone got or used these fold up decoys? Watched a few youtube videos and they look bloody good! My only reservation, which no-one seems to question is how do they look from above?? They obviously pivot out from the pigeons back therefore there is no broadness/shape across the back! Be really interested to hear any views on this. Cheers Colin
huffhuff
Do a search for FUDS - lots on the subject
humperdingle
Yes, they work very well, especially with a couple of easy mods. As suggested, though... Do a quick search for a multitude of threads.
jez28
HI Colin, I use the FUD's and so far they do exactly what they say they do! They are designed to be a 3D image from above and when folded out they are about 3-4" across. Like i said very effective but just one opinion i guess. Hopefully you will see them in action soon! utectok
Slow to set up can't pitch in hard or frozen ground no movement to dark....... Otherwise they are ok! I have some duck on a motherline they seem ok though in the water

I used some last week (6 in all) and had as much success as the lads using shells and floaters. in another part of the field.
.philmypower.
I have 17 pigeon FUDs think there great, take a little longer to set out and don't know why the steak is red but there easy to carry, take up very little room, don't glear in the sun. I rate them 8/10 as you said they look **** from above but I've had good success on them with birds landing in the pattern regally. Oh don't rate the crow FUDs but that's just my opinion. Going to get myself some Canada geese FUDs at the midland this year

utectok
Fair bit of tide here in the Solway!! However I tether my ducks in a burn that's tidal but never dry I don't think they are as good as full bodied keel deeks but take up a lot less room!!
