Laird Lugton
I think if they had access to a creative arts group this wouldn't have happened. Were they to have sensed what it was like to be an oak tree blowing in the wind they would be more adept at dealing with their frustrations. Indeed, their inner selves negativity could manifest it self in a three minute peice of art in which they perhaps were to replicate a Salmons forcing its way up an ice cold Scottish river to blow its beans. Hilarious
LEFTY478
why not call in the army then issue a curfew warning and if anyone is out rioting after 9pm crack out the rubber bullets, water cannons cs gas! Errm, because: a. The end of Op Banner (N Ireland) has left the Army a bit short on Public order training. b. No curfews without declaring martial law and HMG ain't going to go there. c. Rioting is rioting, the time of day makes no difference. d. The army hasn't got any water canons. e. Toms need a clearly defined mission and "Your mission is: to make the naughty boys go to bed without any supper. Your mission is: to make the naughty boys go to bed without any supper." just won't cut it. f. 10 years of hanging out of their hoops, running around the middle east means that their 'give-a-****' meters aren't even registering a flicker. The Army is smaller in size than the combined UK Police Farces. Edited August 8, 2011 by LEFTY478

Ultimately ending with a crack to the back of the head with a suitably sized priest And I don't mean father Ted
ack-ack
I think think the Army will have to come in! Will never happen. Green on the streets = percieved total breakdown. All they need to do is get former Private Lee Clegg on the streets.

LEFTY478
Why not send the TA in?they seem to be the Army of the future Now, if you'd said send in the Royal Marines, you might have been on to something. The sight of a hundred and twenty naked Booties, in 'Roll Mat' order, plus a 'Snatch Squad' dressed as slappers & tarts, would scare the b'jesus out of the natives.
