BenBhoy
hey guys. i'd like to know which type/make of flapper you'd reccomend if not on a tight budget. i believe you get what you pay for and want to get a decent one. thanks. also, is it better for the intermittent timers or remote ones you control yourself? can the remote ones be set to intermittent as well as control by user? activeviii
use the intermittent and the remote all on the same flapper. i leave then flapping randomly but as a bird starts to pull in i turn the flapper off as i have had too many birds jinx when the flapper moves are the wrong time. Cosd
Turbo flapper is a great bit of kit and well made. I use a remote as I like to switch it off as the birds turn toward the pattern, if money is not an issue go for both together as the previous poster advised; I like that idea and thinking I'm going to get an intermittent timer for mine as well. steve_b_wales
I've got two flappers, both bought from our sponsors. They are excellent quality, and spare motor's can be purchased, should they burn out and are out of warranty. I also use an intermittent timer on one of them. This works well when decoying Crows.
