gottsy boy
Hi all can anyone help on my beretta 686 onyx the front bead has broken, it seems the steel has snaped in half and the front end remains and the back is missing. it did consist if two rings that the bead pushed into now it's just one ring, i did shoot with it like this on some sporting wed eve and actuly shot ok. 50/70 thats not bad for me are they easy to refit and if so can you get smaller beads like just a small dot?? thanks stuart
Gordon R
Just unscrew it. There are more than a few on E*ay or replace it with a Ruby.

Spara Dritto
You can get a packet of 7 or 8 different Genuine Beretta sights for £17.00. A chap on here was selling them.

Peathag
By all means replace the bead but in actual fact the bead is almost unnecessary - you shouldn't be looking at the bead whilst shooting but it is useful for practice mounting and checking your gun fit I particularly like twin beads for this purpose. I have loaded for people with no beads left on their guns because they have melted away (plastic ones) whilst shooting lots of birds in hot countries etc and it hasn't affected their shooting whatsoever.
