Decoys illegal in NI ????

This is the bit I was worried about

"Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the Wildlife

(Northern Ireland) Order 1985 it is illegal to sell decoy birds."

"use as a decoy, for the purpose of killing or taking any wild bird, any sound recording "

It seems to be about Larsen Traps underneath, but it doesn´t speciffically state that. I was worried, because I was thinking of getting one of those electronic crow calls too.

Your thoughts please gentlemen :hmm:

If it´s only about Larsen traps then no problem :good:

LOL, the laws here are totally different from other areas I used to shoot, and I like to keep within the law, so just need clarification on those two points, and whether it´s illegal to use an electronic call when shooting crows

Yes mate it's illegal to use an electronic call, also the bit referring to selling decoy birds means you cannot buy or sell live birds to use as decoys.
