Took Molly out again for a few hours today to try for pigeons. She has never sat still for longer than 5 mins, and we have been working on that but it paid off today and she helped me bag a couple. Her training as a retriever is comming along great.

MM, make the most of it, they grow up fast and want to do their own thing. My oldest boy has had a shotgun liscence since the age of 12 1/2 years, now he's 26 he hardly uses it. He used to be a great retriever also. He used to go up between a hawthorn hedge and a sheep fence when ferreting like a sas soldier under barbed wire on a training excercise on his elbows. Girls and alchohol was his un-doing. But you'll remember these days forever. Make sure about ear protection for her.

Nice one MM and well done molly! Anything that keeps the young ones off the streets and out of trouble has to be a great thing (And good for our sport) :good:

How long before Molly gets her own Pigeonwatch username and starts posting threads herself mate, or will you block that idea in case she starts telling us how well (Or otherwise) you really are shooting?
