Frenchieboy
I was driving back from a Bowls Match I had to play this evening (I won for a change ) and spotted this amazing sun set. It was still showing when I got home so I got the camera out straight away and got these two photos. This is the sort of evening that I would have liked to have been out bunny bashing but not to worry, there is always tomorrow!

Frenchieboy
+1. Frenchieboy, you know the rules up our way, if you can't see Pendle, its raining. If you can see Pendle, it will be raining shortly. Too true Steve! The wife and I even walked up on to the top of Pendle Hill one day to see if it were true and guess what - It rained! Thinking about it I ought to try to get a few sunset pictures over Pendle!

Frenchieboy
Excellent pictures Frenchieboy, love the first one especially :good: Cos Thanks for that mate! Both photos were taken within a couple of seconds of each other from my bedroom window using slightly different focal lengths on my smaller zoom lens! With all of the poor weather we have had recently we have not been getting many descent sun sets so I thought this one was worth photographing. Heving said that though looking out of my window this morning it is quite a nice day today - I might even take the 12 bore for a walk shortly before I go bowling this afternoon and then do a bit of bunny bashing with the HMR this evening if it stays dry!
