One is a Baikal single barrel 12g blueing on receiver a tad worn but bore is as new good working gun still made today.

Cost new £95 wanting £45 less than 1/2 price

Second is a Winchester 12g Model 12 Pump action again bore is immaculate. This one was made in 1959 and has a Cutts compensator on the barrel (early form of choke) nice woodwork needs an oil though. Blueing worn but just needs a rub and reblued to look good.

wanting £50

Lastly (for spares only) a Remington 12g model 11 Semi auto (made from 1911 through to the 50s i beleive)

Barrel pitted and POSSIBLY needs sleeved or get a new one from america for $150 to $200

I used this on Sunday and it worked fine as it should.

Again this is sold as SPARES only or deactivate and use as a Ornament

Wanting £50

Normal SGC Rules apply and face to face required

Thanks

4.30 a.m. start - in a hedge, in a field, p****** with rain and decoying for crows.

4 hours go by, nothing - still raining and the birds have better sense than us.

Drop a cartridge in mud (unknown to me), feed it into the gun, gun now turns into single shot manual ejector.

Decide to get "old banger" of a 3 shot pump gun for days like today.

LG, tell me about your old banger and will it take a battering?

The wife ALWAYS takes a battering :good:

Oh you mean the GUN

Which one??

The Baikal Single barrel is in PERFECT working order as said a bit of blueing worn from the receiver

The Winchester mod 12 pump is more like a collectors piece but i still use it and it's load of fun The Cutts compensator is set at about 1/4 choke i beleive i hit most clays on the Grouse butt with it :D

The Rem mod 11 semi works fine but as said the barrel has pitting (hasn't affected MY using it) i amashamed to say it BUT i shoot better with the Remington than my O/Us :D

Hope I dont sound nit-picky but I think you'll find that a Cutts Compensator (as fitted to the Thompson sub machine gun) is a series of slanted, upward-facing vents to help keep the barrel down when firing, I think. Good luck with sale, Clipper.

Thats PART of it's operation maybe but you ALSO get interchangable ends which act as Chokes the longest being Full choke i beleive and so on till you get the shortest.

I found this out while reading about the gun AND an old guy who used to own a FLEET of model 12s in the 70s
