Highlander
One for the bird enthusiasts on here. Shooting at the w/e and spotted a Bar Headed goose nesting on a (large) pond. Guess it's an escapee but will she/he lay? I've heared they do interbreed with some of the grey geese and there are Greylags on the pond but no sign of a mate. Anyone got any ideas? scolopax
Well if its nesting its breeding. Most goose species will cross breed if they cannot find one of their own.

henry d
Never seen one myself but we do get a few oddities here, such as Egyptian geese and Mandarin duck. The Drake Mandarin is a topper
