30-6
Only had it about a week, bought the 10 shot mag but not fitted it yet, still getting used to it. Slight mark on the silencer from pellet but still seems accurate out to 30 yds. May look unconventional but does what it says on the tin. 30-6
Poacher - the rat on the left was somehow wet (there was puddles outside from the previous nights rain). Dead-Eyed Duck - the buildings were creaking as they cooled down, but the biggest noise was from the rats in the cavity wall. It was like they were climbing up between the block and steel sheeting and then sliding back down, like someone scratching their nails on a blackboard. Not as bad a feeling though as cod fishing on a beach on you own, and you keep thinking someone is walking on the shingle behind you. 30-6
Frank - thought of that, had wellies on, a million cp torch by my side and a f**cking thick thumb stick. Where I was sitting had large blue barrels and I did see a rat run behind one four barrels down, but never came my way.

Poacher
I've had that too but with a fox when beating,, everyone was in position (on the edge of cover) and just about to start move through the game cover and a fox came shooting out of the cover about a meter from me,, before i knew it he was speeding up the hill behind me...with two fox terriers giving chase.. if i'd been a bit more awake with a longer stick i would have boshed him on the head :good:
Dead-Eyed Duck
I remember walking up a lane one night when it was so damn dark that I couldn't see anything. My mate was carrying the battery and lamp, and walking behind me, stumbling in the potholes. I had my 22-250 slung over my shoulder, but not at 90 degrees. A tawny screeched nearby, and I nearly wet myself, and came to an abrupt stop. I am only a small chap, and my mate (who is a bit gorilla-like) walked straight onto the moderator of the 22-250. Smack into his eye socket. You should have heard him cuss - it was really disgraceful! Good job I suppose that I had the moderator fitted.
