Suggest you go to your local club, and have a couple of starter lessons before the officer comes around to interview you, he will be wary if you have no gun safety knowledge or experience, and you will really need some lessons anyway, the shooting club will lend you a gun and also give you some advice on what sort of gun to get and advantages disadvantages of each type, around my area about £50-60 for a hour and a half with 50 cartridges

I entered N/A into a box if it had no relevance to my personal circumstances. Also, the FEO was quite impressed that I had been clay shooting a few times before applying and getting some experience with members there. It seemed to look favourably anyway by how the conversation turned.
