wymberley
Bit confused, anyone help, please? Spotted a "premium" fuel at the pumps today - never paid any attention before - in the 2 seater with the filler on the "wrong" side and not the usual diesel, so tend to pay a bit more attention when topping this one up. Just now, by coincidence, I've seen a piece about their premium petrol that is known as "momentum" which has 420 odd outlets throughout the UK but mine isn't one of them. So, what did I see at the pumps if premium is momentum which they don't sell where I am, what is this premium? (Apart from some 5p more expensive!) chrispti
It's a higher octane rating, same as Shell V-Power fuel. ''99'' is the octane rating as opposed to the standard rating in normal petrol, which is 95.

So we're saying that they are re-branding their premium fuel previously known as "Premium" to "Momentum", except that as yet the Momentum is not yet available at some outlets where Premium previously was. AlistairB
Yes, it is just a branding change. I used it for a while as it's the only thing on the pumps at the office and saw a 2mpg improvement. AB

BiG_Al
only worth while using if you drive an AMG, mitsubishi EVO, impreza etc that require the higher octain rated fuel BTW ferrari's wont run unless they are using this 99ron fuel. if you drive a "normal" car................dont bother!
