Beretta28g
In Norfolk you CANNOT shoot and WILDFOWL on a Sunday; that also covers inland shooting as the birds are still technically wild.
twitchynik
Could prob of got a quicker, definitive answer by using less keystrokes and searching for it. But it's ok. You're from Norfolk and therefore of simple nature so we can let that one go.

955i
Just as an aside, can anyone shed light on why we are still limited by an archaic law designed around a religion that many shooters do not practice (I assume the law is to do with christianity and the church)? Sprackles
Dont know if its the proverbial old wives tale but when I started shooting I was told that Sunday ban was brought about because that was the only day the common classes got off from work to attend church thus leaving the best shooting to the landed classes. Never given it any more thought until now.
anser2
Maybe as we have never had sunday shooting we never miss it here in Norfolk. If the law was reversed I would not shoot wildfowl on Sundays . They deserve at least one days rest a week.
