RossEM
Valley View International and JARM Farm have joined together to provide our first season of driven & walked up pheasant and partridge across some 150 acres of the picturesque Missenden Valley, Buckinghamshire. Our shoot is not for people who hope to get big bags, but is a perfect introduction to game shooting - we hope to shoot about 20-25 birds per day, including Pheasant and English Grey Partridge. Newcomers to shooting of any age are especially welcome, but there will be some testing targets! We have 6 days arranged for 8 guns only. In the interests of the guns, we are arranging these days in two 3 day Syndicates. The last shoot will be reduced in price for anyone who wishes to take part, however this will again be for a maximum of 8 guns. Dates - 29th Oct, 12th Nov, 26th Nov, 10th Dec, 26th December (half day), 7th Jan, 21st Jan. The Schedule: 8:00am Meet at Valley View clay shooting ground 8:15am Breakfast 9:00am Start morning drives 12:00pm Lunch 13:00pm Start afternoon drives We'll finish roughly around 4:00pm, then back to the club house for dinner and drinks. All meals are included in the price. On top of all this, you then have the option of an evening duck flight - this is included in the price but we cannot guarantee numbers as these birds are wild. Prices: £200 per day 3 Days syndicate £550 (Half Gun) 6 Days Syndicate £1000 (Full Gun) Boxing day (half day shoot) £100 +5% tip to the keeper on all days. To book, please call Adam on 07795 424590 or James on 07519 308136 - We look forward to hearing from you. Catamong
I've shot Clays at Valley View since the early 80's when Ian vacated his other ground just down the road. It's a nice place to shoot some interesting clays and I hope you Guys make a go of running a Game shoot there, but I'd have to say it's a tad pricey for 8 Guns each to pay £200 a day to shoot 3 or 4 birds each, and over only 150 acres, how many drives can you get in on such a small acreage..? Cat. rimfire4969
Good luck with this. I used to live not far from your shoot a great area with plenty of hills. At £200 per day I would expect maybe a few more birds. I normal pay around £25 per bird. So at £200 per gun I would expect 60 to 70 birds. But quality outways quantity every time. beerdeor
Ross being a bucker I know the area well, very nice to look at,however I beat on another local shoot there charges are £200 half gun £400 full gun per season, however that doesnt include breakfast or dinner and no wages for the beaters IMHO you may be a tad ambtious with the price given a 25 bird day,not critersising what your doing "fair play to you" just trying to offer some advice hope it works for you atb Jim
