Vermincinerator
Is N133 any use for .22-250? ive got about 1.5lb left from my .223 and im hoping i can use it up Much too fast im afraid and could actually be dangerous, use a case full and you could generate gun destroying pressures the same could be said for reduced loads, low density powder charges can experience flash over causing detonation of the charge, a loud bang broken gun and maybe injury to the user could result. casts_by_fly
Nathan, Your location is leven fife. Does that mean part time in Leven (east yorkshire)? If so I'd be interested in the 133 for my 223. Thanks, Rick
hanky
Actually if it is Vihtavuori N133 you can load 22.250, the official loading data is - 55grn bullet starting load 27.6grns max 31.3grns 51grn bullet starting load 27.6grns max 31.3grns, they appear to be the only loads for N133

Alycidon
My Vit manual does NOT list N133 for 22.250. It does list N130 which is a bit faster (start load 31.3gr, max load 34.5gr) and N135 which is a bit slower (start load 33.6gr, max load 37.5gr) The max loads are coming out at just under 3900 with a 45 gr Speer bullet, it does not advise what primers are used. That would indicate to me that dully 1963s load may be good in your rifle but work up to it slowly looking for cratered primers etc. I would start at 31.3gr using Fed 210 primers, they show pressure quite early. Remember you are looking for accuracy only. Any of these loads will be quite fast enough to get the job done. A
