the pelt man
My local Tesco's in Shenley had its Cash point stolen last night 3am. The thiefs stole a JCB digger off the M25 road works, drove it a mile up the road and smashed a great hole in the side of Tesco and ripped out the cash point then charged of down the road with the cash point in the bucket. Police have been unable to find the JCB or cash point as yet. Now who round here knows how to Drive JCB's , me thinks relations of residents from Dale Farm might be able to help Police with there investigation. My local take-away dose not take credit cards so i had to drive 2 miles into Radlett to get Cash out to pay for my order PELTY

marmitemania
Just read the story and they used a JCB Telehandler from a farm round the corner, but escaped (as they tried to load the machine onto a Land rover which had also been stolen)when the Police turned up. Police say they are looking for an Audi and a VW Passat, popular car I know but they seem to be ****** favourites aswell.

Seamus
When I lived in Raunds in the early 90's they stole the Barclays Bank cash point using a JCB. Good to see some things never change!
Browning
I had the misfortune to live in Raunds a few years ago, I was burgled twice in 3 months, and I lived in the old police house which was extremely secure (or so I thought)!! I soon sold up and moved on....... Edited October 26, 2011 by Browning
