  1. Sorry if this has already been mentioned, got bored after reading page 3. Simply download a BR19 form, send it off and this will give you the current entitlement to state pension. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-a-state-pension-statement
  2. I've used this company in the past http://www.hotsmoked.co.uk/smoking-woods.html
  3. I've also got a brand new GMK boot bag, that I'll thrown in for free!
  4. Go on then, I'll take this and will bring the case up next Saturday.
  5. Almost brand new Le Chameau Chasseurnord 3mm Neoprene, with full side zip and press stud fastener. Worn once, realised during a days shooting that I needed a size 10 and as they've been worn, can't go back. Yours including postage for £220.00 and no, the price is none negotiable! PM me if interested.
  6. I can mentally see the look of horror on the cleaners face, removing the mascot from under the bed!! Eewwwwww.
  7. Best never venture on to the M25 then! Had the misfortune to travel back along it from visiting family in Kent and regularly had to change from lane 1 to lane 4 to get past a numtpy in lane 3.
  8. When I did my AYA, during the sanding down stage the London Stock finishing kit include a small bottle of pore filler that you mixed in with the fine wood dust. I've added the thread for you. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/235437-aya-stock-and-fore-end/?hl=%2Baya+%2Bstock Looking good by the way and a far better match in colour. BS
  9. Having worked for a large high street bank as a financial adviser, where quarterly feedback was a regular occurrence, they were anonymous, not compulsory and asked your age range, gender, nationality, orientation, religion etc, so couldn't be pinpointed back to any one individual. Funny how many 45-50 year old, female, Asian, lesbian, Catholic's worked in the team!! The feedback was taken quite seriously, we'd regularly be marched into a meeting room by senior management to discuss our negative comments and it did result in some changes. Though depending on the size of the company and also team, IMHO, I'd say if it's asking for your full name and/or to complete on paper, then be careful what you say! If an employer should hold anything against you at a later date, then I'm sure they'd fall foul of employment law, PM Thunderbird and he'll give you the details. Good luck
  10. Glad to hear it's all going in the right direction and looking forward to hopefully seeing you in May. Sure you're getting all the answers to questions from the medical team, but if you need any advise, PM me and I'll pass it to Dr Brown.
  11. You obviously don't know me that well!!
  12. Can't see what all the fuss is about!! I'd rather my children were suitably informed, takes the pressure off of me having to explain it later on!!
  13. Did you watch that annoying bloke touring around Argentina eating mostly bbq? Reckon the method of cooking a side of beef over a fire, looked pretty damned good and it took 3 hours, so with the amount of alcohol consumed during the cooking process, it wouldn't matter how it tasted!! I wonder who amongst us would be able to knock up a suitable contraption to allow such a cooking method. Neil!!!
  14. Weber Q series, do a small portable one that also has a stand. I've the large Q320 and love it. Use this one http://www.bbqworld.co.uk/weber-barbecues/weberq/weber-Q1000-series.asp
  15. As above, I'd certainly be making an appointment to see the GP who completed the report and also ask to see your medical records, as it's not unheard of them to be incorrect, plus the GP could be an anti. The Current Mrs BS is a GP and her take on is it that they can only go on the most recent records, but it usually stems from stress, anxiety and depression. Good luck and I hope you get it resolved.
  16. My only other piece of advice, if you haven't seen a Homebuyers report before. Be aware of all the standard statements the surveyor will use with regards to not being able to comment on the electric and gas etc, they'll recommend specific survey's for each area and possibly damp & timber reports. They'll also make comments about not being able to look behind fittings and that x&y could exist. If the property is older than 10 years there will be no valid NHBC guarantees. It might be worth considering a Full Structural survey, to cover all bases. Also if you know a friendly builder, take them around and get their opinion on areas of concern. Hope this helps.
  17. We tend to use Colleys Surveyors for most of our private clients, so you could try them as they're UK wide. Are you intending to buy the property with a mortgage involved, if so you might find that the lender will allow you to incorporate the homebuyers into the cost of a standard property valuation, with a slight discount.
  18. If you can get autoCAD for free, get it. There are a few sites offering free 30 day trials and students (mature of course ) get a 3 year free licence. You could always pm Mike, as he, from memory, does something in the area of planning/drawing/QS'ing!
  19. Years ago, I was in an old tradition pub up in the Lake District, which had loads of stuffed animals dotted about the place. Yank couple walk in, you know the type, Hawaiian shirts, sandals and with socks, admiring the décor, the wife pipes up 'Are they all alive' at the top of her voice!! Couldn't help myself and responded, 'Yes love, but they're all holding their breath'. Obviously you needed to be there, but the lads found it funny and beers was sprayed about the place. Bless us and save us!!
  20. I'll take 5 boxes of the gloves and is the 12lt bottle, din or a clamp plus how far off retest? Pm me your details.

  22. Vast majority of the time it works out cheaper not to have a policy and just pay as you need it. Annual service by my Gas Safe chap is £50.00 and when the boiler stopped working before Christmas a call to Worcester Boilers, £272.00 paid for all the parts and labour, we do have young children so they came within 24hrs, but over the course of 8 years its cost just £672.00, apposed to a policy for £20.00 per month being £1920.00. Obviously if you make multiple call outs, you'll get your monies worth from a policy. Good luck
