lucas
heard stories about hatsan... and nothing good. I would stick with weirauch. Not just because ive got one but everyone ive spoke to cant rate them highly enough. My dad has a hw35 hes had since he was 18 and its like its only just come out of the box!. + he got it 2nd hand. For a hunting rifle consider a carbine or shorter version. much easier to lug about and new modern ones are just as accurate.
TaxiDriver
I have a Gamo SFX which is an underlever Springer, pretty well full power @ 16 Jules (which someone said works out at 11.7ft/lbs?). It has a Synthetic stock, 2010 gun and has fired 500-700 pellets. Has a cheap SMK 4x32 scope on it.

Why not buy one and try one, you know nowt until you've shot one. I had one in a pcp and it was spot on a quality gun, for the record it shot as well as any daystate as my mate will tell u!
