docholiday
Well I stayed with this Stag for three hours in the woods on friday, :yp: sun was strong and low causing great difficulty in the woods, He was either in the shade or had his rear only facing me when in the light patches. <_< just as I was about to give up and leave him be he walked into a bit of light and turned to look my way. so now I believe there is a photography God: Now if only they would appear like this when I have a rifle with me !! docholiday
Looks splendid against the Autumnal backdrop. Looks like you prefer the camera to the gun now David? I am not sure the 12 pheasants, one partridge, a woodcock and a pigeon I shot today would agree with that  Its difficult, having been on the site for several years, a lot of things seem to round and round and perhaps I am able to contribute more with the pics than the pen, but I am doing a lot of shooting and always looking to do more. Its good to be involved in all sorts of things and anything to do with the countryside will always grab my attention, certainly the fieldcraft I have learnt from my shooting has helped my wildlife photography. This week I am going to see some new ground on Monday that I have been asked to shoot, Tuesday lamping Thursday Stalking Sat fishing monday invited to a days shooting at big shoot in Malvern, have to play a little golf sometime to life is good cheers doc
GREENGRASS
Two good captures their Doc. I pray to God quite often regarding the light however he normally lets me down. A three hours stalk I know the feeling. I have been out this morning 29/10/2011 up at 04.30hrs and when I get their it's fogy. At that point you just have to grin inside and wait and wait and wait and then it rained. Regards GG
