pboro shot
on the way back from shooting today thought id drop in at whittlesey gun shop just outside peterborough, turns out theyve moved but the new shop really is a step up from where they were, well worth a look around now theres space ,good collection of shoot cloths aswell as camo aswell as all the other useall stuff to be honest i useally avoided it and favoured bradshaws or fenland sport even though it was a treck out got a slab of victory pigeon 12g for £50 so not expensive either and saved bit of fuel
J@mes
Whereabouts are they now then? The old shop was tiny and was sometimes a pain in the **** to get parked!

jackinbox99
Thats good to know! I used to go and see Dave all the time, and have bought a few guns off him in the past, not to mention tens of thousands of cartridges. About time he got a new shop, the old one was pretty pokey to say the least, and parking was certainly a nightmare!!!

Stratts
Pity the prices of some ammo seems to reflect the cost of fitting out the new shop!! I like Dave (unlike his sidekick!!) but I think I've just spent my last pennies in there today! It'll be Fenland for me from now on for my rounds and pellets!! Stratts
I can bet it wasn't Dave but his condescending helper that served you mate. He must cost Dave a fortune in business over the years!! It's my own fault for getting low on ammo and needing some for tnite! Seeing as I was close by today I popped in for some WMR rounds but at £18.95 for 50 I won't be going back!! £12.00 when I rang Fenland says it all really! Pity though!! pboro shot
the carts price is a little more expensive then fenland especially if you are a basc member but the extra traval expense makes the price about the same for me ,as for the grumpy guy hes not that bad in small doses but see how some might get offended
Chr15j
I went to the old shop a while ago with my wife. Never been made to feel so unwelcome, or uncomfortable, ever. Obviously I just walked out again. Shocking service, avoid imo!
garden gun
Used to go in there for fly fishing gear when we lived in the Fens. Dave Shipman is a top bloke, sounds like his sidekick is a real pain. Pity. Glad Dave has managed to expand.
