on the way back from shooting today thought id drop in at whittlesey gun shop just outside peterborough, turns out theyve moved but the new shop really is a step up from where they were, well worth a look around now theres space ,good collection of shoot cloths aswell as camo aswell as all the other useall stuff

to be honest i useally avoided it and favoured bradshaws or fenland sport even though it was a treck out got a slab of victory pigeon 12g for £50 so not expensive either and saved bit of fuel

Thats good to know! I used to go and see Dave all the time, and have bought a few guns off him in the past, not to mention tens of thousands of cartridges. About time he got a new shop, the old one was pretty pokey to say the least, and parking was certainly a nightmare!!!

the new shop is 100x better im sure you will be impressed :good:

Pity the prices of some ammo seems to reflect the cost of fitting out the new shop!!

I like Dave (unlike his sidekick!!) but I think I've just spent my last pennies in there today! It'll be Fenland for me from now on for my rounds and pellets!! :good:

I can bet it wasn't Dave but his condescending helper that served you mate. He must cost Dave a fortune in business over the years!!

It's my own fault for getting low on ammo and needing some for tnite! Seeing as I was close by today I popped in for some WMR rounds but at £18.95 for 50 I won't be going back!! £12.00 when I rang Fenland says it all really!

Pity though!!
