  1. I've just decided to buy a .17hmr 455 thumbhole and I want a thumbhole for my .22 452. I also found someone selling a .17 HMR 452. My question is, would the stock on the .17 fit on my .22? Both heavy barrels
  2. You've never been involved in government procurement have you? They always buy junk! It's a game that I was never willing to play so stepped out of that sector
  3. The collected gun is still a once only drive (not local)
  4. Hi all, About to get a new (to me) HMR and I have the following choice 1) 5 yr old (allegedly 200 shots fired) cz 452 with boyds thumbhole stock and sak mod with 50 rounds of ammo for £320 collected 2) 6 month old (allegedly 50 rounds fired) cz 455 thumbhole stock, bipod, 400 rounds for £400 (inc their rfd transfer) plus 25 rfd cost at my end. Which would you go for and why. Money is not unlimited so is a factor! Thanks Chris
  5. May as well just buy a 455th or an annie
  6. I just love the viper for ranging etc and the zoom is helpful for the longer shots, especially on the HMR
  7. Are the wrecking bars any good if you get tired kicking doors in?
  8. So... A new 455 thumb hole varmint or a used 452 with a boyds?
  9. Does that have a cheek piece then?
  10. Is yours the thumb hole or American sporter style?
  11. For me it's the stock, not enjoying lack of comb!
  12. On full mag can you see your grouping with the 10/22? Sorry couldn't resist! I remember my 452 was a bargain back in 2006 I could sell now and break even!
  13. My only criticism with 452 is lack of comb on the stock, especially with my Hubble telescope on top
  14. Ok so my variation is in, Cambs say I need to wait another 2 weeks for my ticket to land and I've earmarked funds! I have found a nice used 452 which may or may not still be available so, if not thought I would see about a backup plan! I currently own a .22 452 16" varmint so know the 452 is a goodun, but interested in other offerings Annie 14" is a dream Weichrauch look interesting but I know little of them Ruger is a nono for me Sako finfire is lovely but no longer made (and **** not .17) Budget wise I'm looking at 285, but I can throw in a beretta 92fs in great cond with box etc to get something more if need be (I.e. Annie 14") So gents, any recommendations / offers
  15. If my darlings were to be running wild I've failed at my job and its my fault not theirs! Feral behaviour is different from cheekiness or naughtiness
  16. Not appropriate! Grandparents are not there to discipline but have fun! That's our family outlook whether the grandparents like it or not! Have a quiet word (with mrs on side of course)
  17. Agree, I have a 16" varmint 452 .22 and its great Should be getting a .17hmr of the same soon
  18. Had my .22 laid up for a year and it went thru 2 moves, took it out and was on the button no zero shift (MTC viper)
  19. Hippocracy at its best! That must be the dumbest question all day! Congratulations!

I would happily supply one of these to a customer...but I cannot justify 6 figures on an Audi! It's like the VW phaeton, how many people want to spend that kind on money on a VW! At least with the skyline it's not stupid pricing, they know and respect their place in the market! Also I suppose why Lexus dont exactly fly off the shelves, just over priced re-badged toyotas! And yes I'm aware the am cygnet is a Toyota iq wearing some plastic and a few cows! I've been doing these at silly money!
