beretta 682 strip and clean - which oil/grease

Hi guys,

 

Ive just took my beretta 682 to bits for a thorough clean as its never had one even though its about 20 years old!!!

 

its not fired that many carts as a friend of mine owned it but worked away for months on end

 

anyway, i tooks i apart and degreased every part. I just now need to put it back together but Im not sure what oil or grease to use and where it should be put

 

any advice greatly appreciated

I do my 682 every year i use a white synthetic food grease but any grease will do.make sure you grease the conical locking bolt and the top lever spindle, and it will feel better than new.you need a bit of patience to get the top lever cam and screw back in. my 682 is 12 years old and shoots 200 cartridges a week and is as tight as new and has never had any problems so its worth doing.
