You could play about with Adobe's Watercolour or other artistic effects and stretch it to around 10 x 8. Print it on watercolour paper and you'll have a nice print. Because you can't replicate a large size in fine detail go the other way and make it deliberately coarse. Check out Monet and other impressionists for inspiration.
