Hammergun
Try ringing round the army surplus shops (in the Yellow Pages). I got mine - a strong net big enough to hide a tank - for £20!
ernyha
Hammerguns suggestion is a good one, compare their prices to the nets advertised in the shooting mags. and pick the best offer.Myself I got my son to serve 14 years in the army and its surprising what they throw away. 8-)

sean johnston
I recently purchased some moorland autumn leaf by debens.I have not tried it yet but the colour looks good (dont know if this is too important). As the other lads are saying ex army is a cheaper alternative. Regards sean.
Cranfield
It depends on your budget and how far you may have to carry your gear. I use the green/brown, 15'x5' cammo net from N&S Shooting Supplies, (its quite lightweight), which cost me about £13, I also bought a few extra "patches" for 50p each, as I like my nets fully covered. I also have an exArmy style green/brown net, which is very much heavier (and smells when wet ), but I like it for exposed hides, as it is a very efficient draught excluder. I use an Advantage lightweight screen in Autumn and against lighter backgrounds, but I tend to drape it over the top of my N&S net.
ernyha
The army netting i use is much lighter tha the old stuff and also doesn,t absorb rain which used to make the old stuff like lead to carry back when it had been soaked.Would imagine some of it is finding its way into surplus stores now.The nets i got were remnants after large vehicles had been covered and were destined to be burnt. Each piece made 2 good size hides. 8-)
