steve_b_wales
Just drill a small pilot hole in the stock etc, and screw the swivels in,with a bit of Araldite glue on the threads.
Dekers
Don't ask me where, but I've seen them historically like a bolt thread, able to take a washer and nut internally! So, bolted in rather than screwed in, can be useful on plastic stocks. Edit here you go...like the picture on this..... http://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=TalonQ%2FDswivels Edit2 and available here..... http://www.cheshiregunroom.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4176 Edited November 26, 2011 by Dekers
archiebald
thanks for that dekers. i realised that if i remove the recoil pad and then i can get inside so im gonna put a small bit of wood behind the hole for the stud to screw into. bicykillgaz
i had the exact same gun and fitted a sling no problem, as steve be said drill a pilot hole, i think i did mine about 21/2" from the butt then just screwed in the swivel slowly. i got a standard bisley swivel kit the one you can tread your sling straight through, not the type for quick release swivels, i filed the barrel band clamp down one end so it fitted on the exposed section of barrel between the forend and mod. i hope this makes sense pm me if not i did put pictures up when i originally did it but can only find this one on the laptop. atb gary
bicykillgaz
there is another picture on this >>>link<<< from when i looked at selling it, its a little better than the other picture i took but not great, i don't know if you can zoom in. you don't need any wood or nuts though mate just take the pad off and measure to where it goes solid the put your pilot hole a little further when you drill it, it looks to be about halfway along the stock not 21/2". i never had any problems and didn't use any glues, wood or witchcraft! wish i'd never sold mine. atb gary
