plexer
You shouldn't rest a springer on anything solid. Ben
peck
Hi James, very good effort. There is a web site called http://www.varmintal.com/abifu.htm . This fellow has perfected the art of bipods, see what you think.

plexer
You shouldn't place a springer on anything solid because it is a recoiling weapon when you hold a springer correctly to shoot it the spring and the piston moving is controlled correctly. Resting it on something solid will throw the shot off. Ben
young airgunner
so your saying dont use any type of bipod
paulos
form follows function if it works, thats what matters most! i made a similar one back before i got a PCP but put some good, thick pipe insulation on it to rest the gun on. it looked like something the dog had found, but rabbits didnt think so
Natures_son
Take that elastic off and got hol dof an old inner tube from a push bike then use a narrow section of that. Then its fully adjustable. gibby
I think hes saying don't rest the barrel on anything as the diference in vibrations will change the accuracy. You should rest the wood on the bipod. Gibby
beatingisbest
is that the haenel? how much was it again and how well does it group?
Ferret Master
Hi, It should work if you rest it on the bipod and pull it tightly into your shoulder. Tim Finley did a test on bipods on springers in airgun world a little while ago and that is what he found. FM
young airgunner
yes it is my haenel. it cost 30 pounds including a canvas gun slip of my friend who had brought a new rifle. i have only zeroed it at the moment but it is grouping very well. i am very pleased with it considering how much i payed, i believe its worth alot more. cheers james
