markws80
Hi has anyone used the filters that clip onto lamps ie Lightforce for use with Night Vision systems. Or do you use other ir lamps?
steve_b_wales
I use an IR filter with my Cluson Blaserlite lamp, which is mounted onto my scope. Used in conjunction with my Cobra Merlin NV, I can indentify quarry at up to 250 yds.

steve_b_wales
Where is the best place to get IR filter? and what would be a good light to get? The one for my Blaserlite was made for it, but I also have a 10x10cm square piece of IR material, which can be cut to size. As mentioned, you can get it on Ebay. Mine was bought from a firm called Alana Ecology, and cost me around £9.00. But it is top quality, and is approx 8mm thick. I can highly recommend the Cluson Blaserlite. It's small, lightweight, and is not expensive. Google 'Cluson Engineering' and see their range.
dannywayoflife
Clusion blazerlites are awesome! I used a ir filter from clusion on it. Worked great! I had to sell the nv tho as I'm off work sick after an op now for god knows how long. Still got the ir filter. Will sell it when I get around to it!
