jhrg
I am looking for a 20-bore cartridge (with fibre wad) that doesn't break the bank. Ideally about 25 grams of 7 shot. Am using Hull High Pheasant at the moment and it's costing a fortune!
Guest cookoff013
reload them, you will get slightly better value. those loads are very quick and high performance, so certainly it would be cheaper... on just cartridges they are ~£250. you can seriously reload a cartridge for that. you after plastic wadded or fibre? Whitebridges
I've been using up some old stock 20 bore Eley CT which I got at £180 a thou. Switched to a few Eley Vip at £56 a slab, but they have now gone up. Yesterday i thought i'd try some Fiocchi 28g fibre 6's which work well at £212.00 a thousand. 20 bore are expensive but there you go. Sprinter
lyalvale/express do resonably priced 25/26g loads in fibre. Failing as per Whitebridges above i have used a great many Eley CT 28g fibre, have also used Eley VIP and currently have a slab and a bit of Fiocchi 28g in use.
