Mungler
I have one - black synthetic. It's light, robust, reliable and cheap. A cracking gun. I bought mine new, but the barrel that came with it was not what I needed and I stumbled across a Remington (I think) multichoke barrel on the floor of a gun shop which happened to fit and which had a great sight picture for me - looking down the gun I just saw flat rib and a bead on the end. Obviously I feel obliged to mention that my 80/100at the PW Sporting Targets Charity meet was achieved using said pump action....
GRamsay
I used to have a mossberg 500 years ago for pigeons and rabbits, there a cheap reliable gun, i had no reason to fault it, they can take some abuse. HUH,You had a mossberg 500 years ago? What age are you?

Fatcatsplat
I shoot the Remington 870 which is very similar. Great fun to shoot, will cycle anything, but watch out for simmo pairs - That's when it can go slightly wonky!

andy198712
i've got an Manufrance version, mines a well used but good condition gun, all works nice and smooth, shoots well, seems well built and solid but alot lighter then other guns i've tried from O/U's to an escort which is lovely. and being an remington 870 copy there is more aftermarket bits then you can shake a stock at, the US police used this for decades, the SAS have a version, there used everywhere!! Salop Matt
As I said I've got one in 20 bore, it says : chambered for 2 3/4 & 3inch shells , how ever I've got some RC semimagnum 70mm 32gram 4's. . . . How do I know if these are safe to use in my gun ? Am concerned about pressure here obviously not cartridge length ! Stamped on the cartridge is: max 1050 BAR ! Cheers, Matt
