My question is, i don t think i am on the electoral register, will this hamper my application?? and if i suddenly appear on there are they gonna want to know why i was nt already on it??? If you have any doubt or can't remember exact dates or think you may have forgotten something relevant then apply for a criminal record disclosure at your local police station, it will only cost about £10. If your still unsure, you might want to find out who you're FEO is and give him a call, say you want to apply but made silly mistakes 20+ years ago and don't want to waste anyones time etc. You'll be surprised at the response you get.
