Floating Chamber
i want a manual for a progresive posness warren reloading machine ,my machine is playing up when i feed brand new cases also a .410 head for a lee load all hope this is the right section and thanks for looking Most loading presses are not designed for new cases. The best 'simple' loading press for new crimp-cutting is the LeeLoadAll. I have sawed off many from second-hand presses to make crimp-starters for several makes. Try it! coyotemaster
I had the same problem with my PW 375 10 ga. loader with new Fiocchi cases. The cure was to adjust the pre crimp die down to almost touching the shell holder and then on the down stroke holding the casing up in the die for a minute or so to let the plastic take a form. After a while you get a feel for how long it will take with different cases. Poly formed cases seem to be a little harder than tougher plastic like Federals/Remingtons.
