motty
A good year from me. I shot a handful shy of 3000. This included 9 100+ bags, 1 200+ bag and my biggest bag of the year 340. Hoping for more of the same in 2012.

I just couldnt get out enough to get those numbers, thats if i could get the birds in the first place.! I've got a full time job, but try to shoot 2-3 days a week when pigeons can be found. Most of my leave gets taken to go shooting. I keep picking up more land to shoot on each year, which helps. Got some good areas for shooting on rape, plus around 1200 acres of peas each year. Just wish i had more cover crops to shoot over and some more roosting woods. proTOM1
What are cover crops? Game cover strips ,so where they flush phesants and patridges from ! I have been a pigeon guide so in times of no clients i have still to take care of farms crops but its my only hobby and even after 18 years i love it . I have plenty of land to cover and have all crops well not peas this coming year but plenty of game covers where i should add a good 1500 birds to my total in around a months shooting
