njc110381
I've never seen one in the flesh so to speak. There's plenty written about them on the 'net though. I would imagine they're tiny little things? A 20gr .17 bullet is small enough - imagine home loading a .14. The powder funnel would be the first problem I should think and then once you got around to shooting the thing I expect it fouls up pretty fast! I did think about getting one once for a very short time but then I decided it was just too unusual even for me to consider. I like fiddling about and developing loads but that's a step too far! Frenchieboy
The write up makes it look like a very impressive round for "bunny bashing" but the only question I would ask (Which I don't know the answer to and would not want to "guess") is how is such a small bullet head effected by wind deviation - A similar question to that which is always being asked about the .17HMR? Dekers
I know very little about these but they have been around for a while, they don't seem to have taken the market place by storm yet!
njc110381
I think a .14 airgun is a great idea. Bet it shoots pretty fast and flat at 12ft-lbs?

coyotemaster
Bullet seating with .17 cals. is challenging enough with fat fingers, I would probably develop a whole new vocabulary trying to seat .14s There was a fellow in Utah shooting coyotes with a 15gr. .17cal. @4500fps. I imagine barrel life could be counted in hundreds of rounds.
