eqipment carring

Recommended Posts

evening all

im new to peageon shooting and its getting to be harder and harder work

carrying all the eqipment. i was concidering buying a (fishing barrow or trolly)

du"s anybody have one of these if so wich is the best twe weels or one :look:

Me and my mate use old golf trollies, they fold down & the wheels come of in second. i used and an old grill pand for the base and it just folds up & very very light & compact. If you take your time and think about the gear your going to pack on it, then modify to suite, try and fit as much as you can into your kit bag and strap it on, get some good tension straps from halfords.Pain in the **** if the grounds rough, but it beats carrying.

Your on the right track with a fishing trolley. I've used one now for a couple of years and it works very well. Single wheel is the way to go. Everything placed on and held down with a couple of bungees. Recently replaced the rather small front wheel with a 20 inch BMX wheel. Much better! Give it a go.

We in the midlands use the 'internal combustion engine', should reach somerset by 2015 apparently.

Only jesting, we use a huge 'sausage bag' and carry that between us, which isn't too bad, bit hard on your own though, never tried a wheel barrow.
