Steve'o Posted June 11, 2006 Report Share Posted June 11, 2006 Last Saturday my BSA Supersport wreaked my scope and locked trigger in cock position could not fire Got pellet out got home and took gun apart to find spring in three peices now wonder the trigger locked? killer rabbit (r1000) Posted June 11, 2006 Report Share Posted June 11, 2006 OUCH!!! i would reccommend you take it to a gunsmith & have it fitted with an 'ox' spring, they are very reliable square section springs which won't shrink or twist out of shape. if you're to fit it yourself then cut the spring to a length that just offers resistance as you replace the endcap etc. (if you leave it too long the recoil may damage your rifle or stock! you won't need any more than the length of the chamber as the springs have an excellent return to 'full length', you may also find that it increases the power a little - but not too much! ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
