yankeedoodlepigeon
As above is it possible or even worth while to reload berden primed cases? Thanks Ydp
Imperfection
I know someone who reloads 7.92x57 (8mm Mauser) berden primed cases, but even he is struggling to find berden primers now as Peter Lawman (an RFD) cannot get them anymore. He does have a special tool for releasing the 3 crimps on the primer too. njc110381
Generally unless you have no choice it's not worth the fuss. What calibre were you thinking of loading?
yankeedoodlepigeon
I can get and have got loads of .308 cases but by the sounds of it not worth the mither.
Windknot
Not worth the hassle on .308, but RCBS make a decapping tool.
Dekers
I don't reload and generally stay away from these conversations, if you can reload them then I have learnt something, I thought it was only the Boxers you could reload! Vince Green
A few years ago Fultons sold the primers and we did reload them but its not really worth the effort. The process is slow and fiddly. I question whether its worth reloading any .308/7.62 ammo really. I can buy .308 FMJ for £50 a hundred or match for £60 a hundred and its good stuff. Its a lot of flippin' work reloading 100 rounds which ever way you do it. and when you have worked out what all the materials have cost you I doubt whether you are even saving any money.
