Actionpigeons
I was on my way to beating yesterday, I seen about 20 pigeons on a hedge, all feeding on ivy. There is a rape field not far away so they must like the ivy. Edited January 22, 2012 by Actionpigeons
oisin og
Near where I live there is a hedge which is largely made up of ivy. At this time of year pigeons come regularly to feed. Whilst there are never the sort of numbers your talk of it is one of those places where you KNOW thay you will find a few birds. When things are quiet everywhere else you can be certain to get some sport there. Many a time I have had recourse to it when there was nothing else doing. pigeon controller
Walking the dog this morning in the local park (7 miles from the centre of Birmingham) and counted sixty plus pigeons on ivy they have been on the acorns up to now but have made the change due to the acorns being frozen to the ground. They will move on the allotments later as the winter gets harder for the sprouts and cabbages. These birds never seem to move out of the area.
