Anth6568
I use to have one a few years ago From what I remember there are two small screws on the side of the breech. Unscrew these and the barrel should loose from the front. Sounds like he had a double feed. Get some wd40 and well lube the barrel, push a wooden dowl down the barrel and hopefully it should come loose.
bruno22rf
As already said-loosen one of the 2 grubscrews on the left hand side of the breach and loosen then remove the other-the barrel will then slide forwards and off.Check the o ring at the muzzle end of the barrel before you refit it cos it holds the barrel snug inside the shroud.Slide the barrel back into place and use the hole left when you removed the grubscrew to relocate on the 2 dimples on the barrel-do not over tighten the grubscrews.Tell your mate to make sure he lubes the pellets and he should not have any more problems-these guns need a firm action to cycle them. Yes as Bruno say's it easy to do.Make sure the dimples line up.Some time bit of lead get stuck behind pellet guide, that the bit that pops out on side that takes next pellet into barrel. If you take scope off you remove the small allen screws on top,and clean it,grease replace top.easy to work on nothing hard to do.
