Lloyd90
Right I have a CZ 550 in 243 and wondering if anyone can give me a quick step by step on cleaning the barrel. I have a full cleaning kit for 243 and a multi purpose one so should have everything needed! Just don't want to mess up and corrode the barrel or something. Also would be good to keep this here for beginners to read if they ever needed to clean there's but have never done it before

cockercas
I clean mine by 1. spray a good amount of copper remover down the barrel. 2. Wait 10 min 3. Down gose the bronze brush scrub a few times. 4. Spray a bit more copper remover down the barrel. 5. Down with the bronze brush again 6. Then scrub with a mop (I use a length of cotton sock). 7. Keep using clean mops until they come out clean. 8. If its going to be stored for a length of time I pass a oily rag down the barrel.
