bazzab Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 mate im a 8 wheel tipper driver. i cannot express to you how c r a p it is. covered in mud all the time. squeezing onto ridiculous building sites. getting stuck up to your axles in rubbish on landfills. having to fly around like an idiot to get ya allocated runs in. DONT DO IT!!!!! Tipper work is terrible. As for getting into container work. unless you been driving for good few years you stand no chance. There are some firms out there that will give new drivers a chance. But they are very few and far between. And ones that do offer £7 an hour!!!!! So to sum up the worse thing i ever did was my HGV licence. People think get a licence and you get work. Don't work like im afraid buddy.
