ack-ack
Nick has suggested a buffet of sorts which he can partially prepare in advance on the Saturday as well as roasting some meat on the Sunday. Nick (with our help) will drive the Sunday food (and Monday brekkie) however Saturday will be more of a free for all. Knowing Nick as we do the buffet is likely to be interesting. Good idea about the keg Mike. All home made booze encouraged too. We must not - on any account - run out of drink. I got three varieties of home pressed cider thanks to the guidance of Twitchynik. It be damn drinkable.
Thunderbird
Sweet. I haven't even bottled my sloe gin yet, or my raspberry and gooseberry gin, or my bramble brandy liqueur. Or the cider I will mix with the sloe berry must after I bottle the sloe gin. Somebody's got to bring some King's Ginger too.
Thunderbird
Oh and can you get some samphire with those razors, or is it not in season by then?
ack-ack
Oh and can you get some samphire with those razors, or is it not in season by then? Should be okay. I don't normally collect it til mid June onwards but there should be a bit about. Might be a bit on the small side
Brown Sauce
I'll have a look down three cliffs valley for some extra samphire to bolster ack ack's and will pick up wild garlic at the sametime for the razor clams. May can't come round quick enough.

hendersons
Sorry I haven't been involved too much on the planning of this event so far gents.Moving house and various other bits has got in the way of me being on pigeonwatch. But I think those involved have all done us proud. Unfortunately at the moment it is looking like I will be working on saturday so probably will not be able to join you all until it's time for a night cap and our pyjamas. As thunderbird has said I will knock up a buffet at work on saturday and just collect it at some point on sunday. I will do a couple of joints of some sort to go with it and see what else I can come up with. I was thinking maybe we should have a go at one of those big paella jobs for lunch time what do you guys think? I have to admit it does depend on me being able to get hold of one of those big pans and I've never done it before but i'm willing to have a go.If we could get a few rabbits between us, maybe a couple of pigeons and if our herts contingency could do the honours with a few crayfish I reckon we should be ok. For breakfast monday i reckon bacon or sausage sarnies will be cool (Imay attempt full english but i'm a terrible cook when my head hurts). I was also wondering will we be sleeping in dorms? If we are i recommend ear plugs (I may snore a little after a drink  ) and what is the best calibre pillow to use for the first annual pigeonwatch pillow fight? Let me know what you think gents. All the best Nick edit for this bit sorry p.s. is there a list anywhere of who is coming? Edited February 22, 2012 by hendersons
