The Essex Hunter
I had a chat with the shepherd this afternoon about a locked gate on the farm, he said it is just hooked over and you can go in those fields.........so we did! First field and Olly whacked this fox at 154yds using my door rest I have made. It fits the back doors as well, so plenty of scope for both left and right handed shooters. The Essex Hunter
well done lads like the rest whats it made of please? I used some left over steel from the seats I make; the main part is 25x2.5mm tube and 19x2mm in the top middle as that fits inside, which allowed me to adjust the distance to suite the gun and lamp. The back part is tapered to allow it to pass through the front door handles. 40x6 flat steel shaped to sit over the door top and some shrink wrap to save the paint work and pipe insulation to save the gun!! We have found the engine must be off, because the vibration from the diesel engine shows up in the scope. TEH
coyotemaster
Nice bit of kit, the CPOs here would have a fit if they found that device in my vehicle. It's strictly forbidden to shoot from a vehicle in our state, really not sure why though.
