Robby22
Hi all, I'm looking at buying a HMR in the next week and have narrowed it down to either a Cz American, or Browning t - bolt. Is it worth spending the bit extra for a t bolt, or should I go for the Cz? Aslong as it shoots consistantly accurate - im happy! Thanks Robby22
neil w
you would not go wrong with either . both good barrels . but browning will have a better value if you wish to sell

bullet boy
Robby,I haven't had anything to do with the T-Bolt am I'm sure it's a lovely rifle but I picked up my new CZ 455 Thumbhole Varmint .17HMR up yesterday and it is super-I love it! With it's stunning Laminated Stock and superb accuracy I would advise you to take a closer look at this beautiful rifle! ATB.
Deano87
Both are nice. I think because the t bolts not been about as long as the cz it hasn't had as many people try it out. If you scroll dwn a few post on guns and equipment. There's a thread say new .17 hmr. Which probably covers your question
Dekers
Get whatever you want, neither is better than the other, and both will do what you want, one will simply cost you more!

I would agree with Dekers. Both excellent rifles. The only thing i would say is have a look at both as the T bolt as you probably already know is a straight pull unlike the CZ which is basically your standard Mauser action. If you're used to conventional bolt action rifles the T bolt might seem a bit strange at first, until you get used to it so to speak. I had a look at one in the gunshop a while ago and TBH i found the straight pull bolt very quick and smooth. A nice rifle on the whole. However so are the CZ's. Have a look at both and see which you prefer. Whichever one you choose you will have a great rifle that will do the job ATB, Pat
